Job Description:

Our client is a leading provider of employment background screening services for companies based in the UK and globally. Based in Hertfordshire our client require a full time Screener to join their team and learn all aspects of the screening department responsible for completing candidate screening files. This will be an excellent and very rewarding opportunity to join a diverse and vibrant team.

 

Tasks and responsibilities will be:

·         Maintain performance against SLA’s

·         Follow all department procedures

·         Ensure all screening tasks are executed daily

·         Processing Employment Checks

·         Running Client Reports

·         Support Candidates through their online applications through telephone and email support

·         Build good communication with both clients and candidates

·         Handling and managing confidential documents and files

·         Analysis and interrogate data supplied by candidate

·         Identify any discrepancies or missing information

·         Obtaining employment/Education references by phone and email from companies globally

·         Quality Control

·         Updating and completing candidate files

 

Essential requirements:

·         Fluent in spoken and written English

·         You will be computer literate, a knowledge of Word and Excel will be an advantage

·         The ability to deal with people of all levels in a confident and professional manner

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail

·         Approachable, Hard Working, Credible, Flexible

·         The role will involve working with sensitive data daily, so honesty, integrity and discretion are an absolute must.

·         Outgoing and bubbly personality

·         Goal orientated and influential

IMPORTANT – ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?

 

1.       Firstly, you need to be able to speak FLUENT English.

You need to be able to answer YES to at least ONE of the following:

·         I am a UK native English speaker.

·         I have CEFR or CEFRL level C1 or C2.

·         I have an IELTS Score 7 or above.

·         I have a TOEFL Score 100 or above.

 

 

2.       Next, you must be ELIGIBLE to carry out an undergraduate internship in the UK.

 

You need to be able to answer YES to at least ONE of the following:

·         I am a British citizen and have a valid UK Passport.

·         I have an EU Passport AND am registered with, or eligible for, the Erasmus+ scheme.

·         I am from outside the UK/EU, but I am enrolled on a full-time course at a university in the UK for the entire duration of the internship.

·         I am from outside the UK/EU, but I have a valid VISA to work in the UK, AND will be enrolled on a full-time course at a university in an Erasmus+ Programme Country for the entire duration of the internship.
